Dr. Kellie Harris
Dr. Kellie Harris graduated in 1996 from the University of the Pacific dental school in San Francisco, Ca. After graduation Dr. Harris knew she wanted to practice dentistry in a small town so she attended a 1-year postgraduate residency in General dentistry. She felt this would give her a better understanding of all the specialties. During her residency she found her passion in Cosmetic Dentistry!
Dr Harris has made a commitment to that passion by continuing to learn and expand. She attends approximately 150 hours of continuing education every year. Most of which are focused on cosmetic dentistry. In 2000 she attended the prestigious P.A.C Live Program. This was one of the first “hands on” esthetic courses in the country. She graduated from both the anterior esthetic and full mouth reconstruction. “This program has forever changed the way I do dentistry. Not only do I look at the beauty of what I do, but concentrate on the functional aspect so that my work last a long time.”
Cynthia Renee Silva-RDH
Cynthia was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico where she attended the University of New Mexico. The summer of 1988 was a very busy one for her. Between May and July of that year she graduated from the UNM dental hygiene program, completed her dental boards, got married, moved to Taos, and began her career. She is a registered dental hygienist licensed in administration of local anesthetic and periodontal laser treatment. During the first two years in practice, she worked in an office that serviced Medicaid patients as well as those on insurance. For the next practice she joined, she implemented a protocol for diagnosis and treatment of periodontal patients. After seven years, the practice was sold to Dr. Kellie A. Harris; she made the decision to remain. The dental team at Northern NM Center for Cosmetic Dentistry is extremely fortunate to attend very interesting and informative continuing education courses each year. Often times the team receive two to three times the number of required hours in a year. She very much enjoys her career, and is still treating many of the patients that she has known for the last 28 years.
